Call of Duty will be Call of Duty. No gameplay improvements, more prestiges, more classes, new maps, new characters. Take Black Ops, change some numbers, reskin the hell out of it, and (gasp) OMG, A SEQUEL? TOTALLY BEST GAME EVAR! Fuck that, I'd rather go back 7 years and play Battlefield 2 than play another Treyarch/Activision abomination. Battlefield 3 was no better, it mineswell have been called Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (Grey Edition); for the true fans, you know?

How about Guild Wars 2? I haven't heard too much about it, but it looks to be pretty much the same as any other MMORPG. Can anyone tell me what is so special about it? On the other hand, a game that looks good is Diablo 3. They're making some changes to the skill trees that I haven't seen being done before, along with some basic upgrades to the looter that I can definitely see as worthwhile. Making it online was definitely surprising, but I suppose Blizzard has had so much luck with World of Warcraft and Starcraft that they are pushing to bring back their loyal fans and others who lay in a similar demographic. It's kind of a decision between competing with other looters (and tbh, the plans don't seem get too advanced, so it would be difficult to stand out as the best) or other MMOs (and Diablo has been received well, establishing a fan base, so they are going in with a mental investment in the series; also, not many looters have been successful going online, so Diablo might break that with a good start).

Bioshock 3 is a game I can't wait to play! Bioshock 2 was my shit! I don't know about the developers and all that stuff like you but its was a helluva game!

I didn't play Bioshock until after I played the sequel. I think they could've done better with 2, but Bioware seems to be making some major changes with Infinite. I'm definitely playing it when it vomes out, though.

Heavy Rain is another game I'm going to go back and finish.

L.A. Noire was pretty good too!

What do you think of skyrim? I was playing that game like crazy for a while and still do when time permits. I love it!

Vic, since you said you play a lot of Madden, do you agree that very little changes between games other than graphics and animation? It's not like one year everything would be normal, and the next you're managing steroid levels of your players, then the next year you have to break out of prison, slang crack, and go to rehab to be fit for a coaching position. Football is football. I think that Madden should only put out a new game every 2-3 years, but put more effort into maintaining previous entries between releases. It would give them time to make more improvements, and it would make the experience more enjoyable. The only thing they would lose out on would be game sales (because they would sell 1 versus 2-3 normally), but if (though I SHOULD say "when") gaming goes digital then it wouldn't really make a difference anyway.
