was a 5.9 in nyc... i was down at the college taking care of my bill for my classes and the table and my water was shaking then like 2 min later building got evacuated for 20min... dumb. it just felt like someone was shaking table but it was only me and this chick sitting there... i didnt even think anything of it til my friend called up talking bout a 5.9 earthquake

i'm in eastern virginia, about 90mi from epicenter. shook pretty good today, felt like we were on a boat sloshing back and forth. we already have the wildfire going in the great dismal swamp, now an earthquake, and after that Irene is looking like she's going to hit us as well. rough week...
