really don't think higher levels should ever be telling someone to start over, they should know better.  my stats were shit until about midway through level 5, and I wish i'd known to start training from the start, but you work with what you have, and i figure i only lost out on about 2000 points.

given the right guidance, new players could own this game if they stuck with it.  unfortunately, they're falling in with level 1 or 2 gangs because they're either afraid of the old timers, afraid to ask intelligent questions, read what's right in front of them, or just plain stupid and take the first offer that comes along

now... nobody willing to help me with those first two consoles... i can't believe i haven't had any takers yet.  lmao

 Ill sell you a Wii IF in 1 guess you guess what i paid for my first and my second consoles within 10% and you have 20 mins from the time of this post for your guess

If you had known to train from the start then thats just as boring as doing real life excercises like push ups and squats to maintain your healthy REAL (maybe not) lifestyle. This is computer gaming dood and you want to hit someone round the head with a sock full of snooker balls. FUN.

all depends how you play it i guess.  i like having people try to mug me and get themselves put in the infirmary for 30 minutes... others might like doing crimes.  there's lots of ways to play, no right way, but there are plenty of wrong ways
