EDIT: Or at least it didn't get as much attention as it should have.

i disagree with the last part, it has gotten solid attention for the last 2 days.  I think 10-15 years ago, meteorologists couldn't have come close to predicting what the path of this storm would have been, basically they would have been shitting themselves when (if) it starts turning towards NY/NJ, with only a days notice or less.  We've come a long way in forecasting.

Still, though. 2 days isn't much time when you think about how long it would take just to secure your belongings and arrange everything with your job or whatever other obligations you have.
