what makes you think that someone wont put a few ak's or assault weapons in that same duffle bag and sell them at crazy prices here, like anything the government makes illegal does not go away...and a person who has their mind set on killing a dozen or more people wont care if they have to spend their life savings to get one because most likely they wont be getting to spend the cash after they commit thier crime

yeah and if you live in NYC now, all you have to do is pull up the interactive map online that shows which households have guns in them, wait till nobody is home and poof, free weapons.

If someone opens fire with an assault weapon 30 rounds could be fired before you have any chance of reacting!!!!!!

So what if a madman took a car to a crowded place? I think that's what megan is implying. In that scenario, it's plausible and possible that a large number of people would be killed, maimed, and injured. And a crowded NYC or LA sidewalk? Quite possible.

what are you even trying to say? okay let me rephrase my post since you didn't understand what i was trying to say. someone can drive a car fast into a crowded area and cause just as much damage as they could with a assault rifle.

i don't typically walk down the sidewalk looking for cars trying to hit me. and if the car is going 70mph, one can only move so fast.
