Those actually...playing. Who are not really relevant to the conversation.

The runners. Who are either dupes solely to run, or people who put playing on hold to earn money. I'm not really sure why anyone would ultimately have a beef with these people. They exist because they provide a service, which isn't even really needed.

The squatters. Who are either building the perfect cell, stockpiling items, or just want access to Adam/Joe. You can't really stockpile items anymore, as you can't go out into the yard and dig up cash/items without leveling out of the prison. If prisons each had their own market, they couldn't build the perfect cell anymore because they couldn't purchase amenities without being in the prison. Well they could still travel up and back down, but that exposes them. Access to Adam/Joe doesn't do much good if you can't sell to people from the safety of the lower prison either. But I don't really view it as too large an issue in the end anyways.

Well I guess they have a fourth reason, they can sit and troll people. But given half of you brag about being trolls, I'd assume you'd know not to feed them and let them get to you. It is the internet after all.

FYI Stats for "Steal Weapons" Crime and ALL water usage for the last 24 hours:

Cash Earned: $605,545,376

Bottles of Water Buyable @ $3600(South Dakota Price): 168,207

Bottles of Water Actually Used: 25,623

People already earn cash to buy around 7 times as much water as is used everywhere at South Dakota prices.

make buyout from isolation 100x what it is 1k is way to cheap for 1 min in iso

there are too many items in the game as it is, people have more than they will ever/could use in the lifetime of their game play

but i like the idea of destroying runners, giving exp to joe/adam, and making it so people actually want/need to progress in the game and not just sit in place for months and months squatting and just using joe/adam down there in the lower prisons

The abundance of money was something KingTommy and I had talked about long ago, where we had poked at the idea of putting a limit on things by making crimes harder to do if you spammed them. We called it suspicion level, every time you did a crime it went up. The higher it got the more likely you were to fail.

He had considered there to be too much cash floating around, and I believed him as he was more familiar with the PrisonBlock systems.

That data run was the first time I'd actually looked at numbers(...I like pulling data out of things to look at metrics), and that is a lot of money. Especially given there's not much use for it alone as you can't protect it due to the limited bank sizes. I can look at mugs going on and see millions of dollars going woosh around.

I shudder to think if I were to look at bank accounts.

In the end tinkering with that would have some large ramifications so it's not going to happen.

For the record, I'm not a huge fan of runners. But don't really see much gain in trying to destroy that social aspect of the game. Which would be incredibly easy.

*bumps up minimum level on every prison by 1*

Oops?

Maybe not for you.

But I sit there and sometimes wonder how people would react if everyone online was thrown into infirmary or iso for a few minutes for funsies.
